Logo designer uk
Kavi is a new Kava beverage start-up based in the USA. They got in touch because they needed a simple logo and label packaging design to help them stand out on shelf. They wanted something super simple, fun, colourful and memorable, with broad shelf appeal. I designed the brand identity and then developed the packaging design to bring that playful, eye-catching look to life. More on this design project soon.

Logo Design & Branding for Beverage Start-Ups
Creating a successful beverage brand requires a balance of several important elements:
• Strong brand recognition
• Memorable logo design
• Clear product positioning
• Distinctive brand identity design
• Consistency across packaging design and marketing materials
For Kavi, the goal was to create a visual identity that felt fun, approachable, and highly recognisable while maintaining a clean and contemporary appearance.
The branding system also needed to translate effectively across packaging, digital marketing, and future product extensions.
THE CHALLENGE
The main challenge was creating a logo and brand identity that could stand out within a crowded beverage market while remaining simple and easy to recognise.
Many start-up drinks brands rely on complex branding systems, which can reduce clarity and impact when viewed on shelf.
The objective was to create a distinctive visual identity that felt playful and memorable while maintaining strong commercial appeal.
THE SOLUTION
We began by defining the overall brand direction and positioning within the beverage category.
From there, I developed:
• A distinctive logo design
• A colourful visual identity system
• Packaging design concepts
• Typography and brand guidelines
• A scalable design system for future growth
The final design direction creates a bold and recognisable identity that helps the brand stand out clearly while maintaining simplicity and consistency across all touchpoints.
THE OUTCOME
The result is a cohesive branding and packaging design system that positions Kavi as a modern and approachable beverage brand.
The identity improves brand recognition, creates stronger shelf impact, and provides a flexible visual system capable of expanding across future products and marketing channels.
