Logo, branding and packaging design for UK based hard seltzer drink brand Skini Spritz.

Packaging Designer London

The guys at Skini Spritz, were looking for a packagng designer, and approached me to design the branding and can packaging label designs for their London based hard seltzer business. They wanted something bold and minimal to really help the brand stand out on-shelf, and against a growing competitive category. I worked on the brand strategy to start with, and then designed a simple logo. I then created the simplistic can packaging design consisting of a pastel colour palette for each drink flavour.

Beverage Packaging Design for Drinks Brands London

Packaging design within the alcoholic drinks and ready-to-drink beverage category needs to balance several important elements:

• Strong shelf visibility
• Clear product differentiation
• Premium brand positioning
• Consistency across multiple flavours
• Modern consumer appeal

For Skini Spritz, the goal was to create a brand identity that felt clean, contemporary, and highly recognisable while maintaining a premium feel across the range.

The packaging design system also needed to scale effectively across multiple flavours while ensuring strong shelf presence and brand consistency.

THE CHALLENGE

The main challenge was creating a hard seltzer brand that could stand out within an increasingly crowded drinks category.

Many hard seltzer brands rely on similar minimalist design approaches, making it difficult to create meaningful differentiation and strong brand recognition.

The objective was to develop a simple but distinctive packaging design system that balanced premium positioning with strong shelf impact.

THE SOLUTION

We began with brand strategy and positioning to define how Skini Spritz should sit within the modern hard seltzer market.

From there, I developed:

• A simple and memorable logo design
• A clean brand identity system
• Can packaging label designs
• Pastel colour palettes for flavour differentiation
• Modern typography systems
• Scalable packaging layouts

The final design direction creates a recognisable and commercially effective branding system that helps the products stand out while maintaining a clean and sophisticated appearance.

THE OUTCOME

The result is a cohesive branding and packaging design system that positions Skini Spritz as a modern hard seltzer brand with strong retail and hospitality appeal.

The packaging design improves shelf visibility, strengthens brand recognition, and creates a premium visual presence within the competitive ready-to-drink alcohol category.

The flexible design system is capable of supporting future flavour launches while maintaining consistency across the range.
