Bona is a pizza restaurant and takeaway based in the UK. They specialise in authentic Italian style sourdough pizza. They approached me, as they required a logo design, branding and illustration for their startup. I worked on the mood board, and brand strategy to begin with, to figure out the right branding direction, I then developed the logo design, colour palette, typography and illustrations for the brand.
The brief was to develop branding that felt bold, simple and expressive while capturing the authenticity and handmade nature of sourdough pizza. Alongside the brand identity, I designed the logo, colour palette, typography system and a collection of custom illustrations that could be used consistently across both print and digital applications.
The result was a distinctive and flexible restaurant brand that helps Bona stand out in a competitive food market while creating a consistent visual experience across every customer touchpoint.

The challenge was creating a restaurant brand that felt authentic, modern and full of personality while remaining simple and highly versatile.
